Tessa Protasivich

Registered Massage Therapist

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology, Tessa decided she had a strong desire to help others, so she enrolled in massage therapy. She obtained her diploma as a Registered Massage Therapist from ICT Northumberland college in 2012. With over 10 years experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, Tessa understands how a problem in one area of the body can easily translate into another. This understanding of the body’s interconnectivity enables Tessa to take a wholistic treatment approach to massage. Tessa has actively pursued a wide variety of post diploma training in Massage Therapy and specifically applies fascial release, craniosacral therapy, and shiatsu techniques for her clients. In addition to being a lifelong learner, Tessa is also a teacher at the Massage Therapy School. She teaches anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to massage therapy students. She helps her students to understand and her clients to feel that all bodies want to return to a state of balance when they are in a state of dysfunction. In her spare time Tessa enjoys spending time in nature biking hiking & bird watching and spending some time at her beautiful hometown beach in Bayswater.
